The Dude
Bathrobe enthusiast, rug owner, and spiritual centre of the universe. Prefers his name, or His Dudeness, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
Sometimes there's a man…
A slow, easygoing celebration of Dudeism and The Big Lebowski. No deadlines. No nihilists. Just a rug that really ties the room together.
Dudeism is a laid-back life philosophy inspired by Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski, the bathrobe-wearing hero of the Coen Brothers' 1998 cult classic. It borrows freely from Taoism, a little Epicurus, and a lot of bowling.
The core idea: life is short and complicated, and nobody knows what to do about it. So don't do anything about it. Take it easy, man. Go with the flow, be kind to your friends, and don't let anyone pee on your rug.
“Abiding” isn't laziness. It's knowing which battles are worth getting out of the bathtub for.
Unofficial, unordained, and subject to change. Like, that's just our opinion, man.
Ask a question. Any question. Then shake the bowling ball.
The ball is resting. As it should.
Five questions. No wrong answers. Okay, some wrong answers.
Bathrobe enthusiast, rug owner, and spiritual centre of the universe. Prefers his name, or His Dudeness, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
Vietnam vet, rules lawyer, and the loudest man ever to observe Shabbos. Loyal to a fault. Mostly the fault.
Gentle, sweet, and perpetually arriving in the middle of the conversation. An excellent bowler.
Purple jumpsuit, polished ball, and a strong opinion about who's going down next week.
A tumbleweed philosopher who narrates, sips a sarsaparilla, and sometimes eats the bar.
Avant-garde artist who paints while flying through the air in a harness. Has strong views on the word "Dude".
Click the lane to bowl. Strikes are not guaranteed. Neither is anything, man.
